Linden Tree - a study in design

I was inspired by this post:

I have loved this silhouette look as it comes and goes through the years, and I tried to find some fabric samples to share. It wasn't easy to find much under the name Linden, but there are centuries of use of the Linden tree in heraldry and centuries old European wood carvings and other designs. I knew Ikea would have it, they always have some of this style of design in their offerings.

November New Ideas

I have been making a few items and I will post pictures soon. I'm still pretending it's Autumn, and we have finally had some really cool breezes and beautiful clouds the past few days. (I wish I hadn't heard the 100 deg. forecast for the end of the week)! So, schedule some time to come over and make some table decorations for Thanksgiving, or maybe some Christmas tags. I am also planning a Cookie Exchange for the beginning of December, so let me know if you are interested.

Is Autumn your favorite season? I have been sneaking pumpkins and a few fall decorations around the house all through September, and now it's time to go full force with glorious Halloween! Come over and make some signs, decorations or cards with me!
