Geek Girl video

Isn't my friend Jon Enge adorable and talented? He wrote this for his (now ex)girlfriend. What girl would leave a guy who writes songs for her????? ;D    (I tried to mute my blog music, you may have to do it your own self)  ENJOY!

Color Challenge

This week I am so pleased to have been invited to be a guest designer for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Blog
Thanks so much, I enjoyed the challenge!
On a white square 4x4 square card I adhered the daffodil strip, green panel and the espresso border.  Stamp the clouds and houses and hand cut and adhere.  Stamp the trees directly on the green panel. Punch the banner triangles and adhere, then adhere the letter die cuts.  Punch the scallop circle, adhere, then punch the label die cut and stamp the sentiment on it. I inked the edges with brown ink around the banner and the labels. I used the Stampin' Up Good Neighbors set (recently retired) and the sentiment stamp is by Studio G, pattern paper by Making Memories and cardstock by Bazzill and Stampin' Up.  Alphabet dies by Cuttlebug.  Punches by Stampin EK Success and Fiskars and Martha Stewart.

Happycake and Art Dolls

CUTe OveRLoAd, right??       !!

The Art Doll collection is collage assembled on a papier mache ornament with a loop to hang on a door or cabinet knob, etc. I'm working on a series of these, which I will add to the post when they are completed. Lots of spritzing with Tattered Angels going on here. Also digging into the bead collection.

Ippity Card

August Cards

OK, does anyone see a theme here?  Do these cards look like one person designed and made every detail of every one of them? Not so much, hmmm, if not the Queen, I'm at LEAST the Countess of Random.

COPICS! coloring is fun and you don't have to stay inside the lines

Winged Things and Handmade Flowers

These are  actually almost 3 inches in diameter, cut with scallop or wave scissors and offset in layers.

To make the brown roses, I used the Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die cuts and for the scalloped flowers, new Quickutz die cuts in vellum and I inked the edges in blue.

I love the new Stampin Up Butterfly die      I got from Shannon, her blog is here!
